These requirements are different from the background checks mandated by Little League International.

Because of this change, every Bridgeport Upper Merion Little League board member, coach, assistant coach, and anyone volunteering in any capacity around children must complete all three Pennsylvania clearances.

 

 A. PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)

B. PA State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)

C. FBI Fingerprint-Based Background Check (Act 114)

If your primary residence has been in Pennsylvania for more than ten consecutive years, you are required to complete and sign the attached PA Volunteer Affidavit in place of the FBI fingerprinting clearance. I will have printed copies for everyone to sign at our next in person meeting February 2nd, but please review prior to ensure you understand what you are signing.
