In 2024, Pennsylvania updated the Child Protective Services Law, which now requires all unpaid volunteers who work with children to complete three separate state background checks. These requirements are different fromthe background checks mandated by Little League International.
Because of this change, every Bridgeport Upper Merion Little League board member, coach, assistant coach, and anyone volunteering in any capacity around children must complete all three Pennsylvania clearances.
Please complete all required clearances and send the documents to me as soon as possible. No volunteer will be permitted to interact with players until all three background reports have been received and verified.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and fully compliant environment for our players.
